This is not a catalytic converter!
This is a special section of straight pipe with a decorative housing.
It is a test pipe that can be used to diagnose emissions issues or installed on pre-1975 vehicles that did not come with catalytic converters from the factory.
Made of polished 201 stainless steel, you won't find a nicer non-catalytic converter on the market!
This product does not perform the exhaust cleansing function of a catalytic converter in any way. Use of this product as a substitution for a factory-installed catalytic converter is not allowable under law. It may result in a significant gain in horsepower and may prevent your car from passing emissions.
